Latest Jorgensen Wedding Albums have arrived

July 31, 2010 by Leela

It’s been crazy busy with shoots and editing, I have neglected my blog somewhat. But at last there is a few moments to spare on my rare Saturday I have off to show you the latest wedding albums I produce from Jorgensen. These guys are the best album designers out there (can only be produced by professional Photographers and sadly not in any shops) They are hand crafted no less. But that doesn’t mean extortionate prices. These are printed professionally and then mounted on superior mount board. The books are then hand stitched together ant to me for final approval. Wowee. I wish I had one from my own wedding. These will last 3 generations at least.

I spent more time of finding the exact ribbon to wrap everything that comes out of my studio than I did looking for a house I think!. I adore the scandinavian style and hope the new website will be oozing that whitewashed cool living styley. Bless the good people at VV Rouleaux in Sloane Square.. ribbon freakin’ heaven. (I shall work on my ribbon tying)

Can’t wait to catch up with old clients and deliver these in person. I miss them!

Ascot Wedding Photography Natasha & Richard

July 2, 2010 by Leela

The rather lovely couple Natasha & Richard came to me after their wedding for a quick close up shoot after they realised they didn’t quite get what they were after before using friends as their photographers. It was odd without all the chaos and people but we had such a great time. I was hoping for a ‘Trash The Dress’ shoot but Natasha wasn’t really up for jumping around in a lake. Some people eh? It was a great idea to re-shoot, we had such a good morning and hearing about their day. Just wish I was there in the first place. Which reminds me to tell you I am revamping the site and branding and is bursting with excitement about it. Watch this space..

Kent Family Photography with the Robsons

June 22, 2010 by Leela

They wished for sun, I wished for overcast and we both got a bit of what we wanted. Who knew that house held the best window light I have used for a very long time. I might hire their living room out it was so good. But as a true fan of natural light photography, you gotta love a cloudy day, no squinting or dark shadows across faces.

A lovely day down in beautiful Kent with 3 generations of family to celebrate a wonderful 60th. Who was the best model that afternoon…?, hands down their beloved dog, Clara. She kept everyone on their toes and rounded up for me. I need a sheep-photograher dog on all shoots.

I love this first shot so much as it reminds me of me and my brother playing with our cousins when we were kids. I know it may not what the parents would have wanted as their first ever family shoot, but it’s my absolute favourite of the day.
